Thanks everyone.

I had a awesome day out at the Time Attack track day yesterday. My other rims haven't arrived yet so I had to run on my street setup but I still managed a new PB on the Clubman circuit of 1:03.77 (compared to 1:04.5x) and I got within 0.8 seconds of my Sprint PB of 59.47 which was done earlier in the year with my semi's.

This was the first time out since the cage going in so the car was feeling too soft originally with the coilovers in the same positions as before. a couple clicks harder all round and the car felt much better.

I was also using the high boost setting for the fisrt time on the track which definaately helped get me out of the corners faster and made up a bit for the loss in cornering speed with the street rubber.

Since I knew it was gonna be so hot out there I brought my esky along and a driver for the trip home so I could get stuck into my favourite icy cold beverage

Safety first...

Here is a video from the Time Attack day last week. I didn't have much battery power so I only ended up recording one full session which didn't give my mate Bill much to work with for this vid but he did manage to make it a lot more interesting then it looked raw.

Not daily driving it but I do like to take it to work about once a week for a nice change. The cage is only ever a pain when i'm working on the interior and have to get in and out all the time to get tools etc. The quick release makes things way easier in that regard.

I got all the ARC stuff from a local distributor in Australia - Vision R. You can also get most of it from RHDJapan.com

It appears you've ordered everything out of arc's catalog =b Fantastic build man. Keep it up and post some track video, I'd love to see that thing go.

My new rims arrived today! They will be used on the track only so i'm getting my dunlop semi's mounted as I type this.

Even the Work boxes look cool...

Also made a mount for the Lap timer on the steering column using leftover bits from my Go Pro Hero mounts. I did it this way cause you can simply unlip it from the base when it's not in use.

Really happy with how it worked on the track. It definately to helps to know how your times are going mid session.

The Evo had it's first ever photoshoot tonight. Pics are by my mate Cammy who just does it as a bit of a hobby - thought he did pretty well.
