eh, I have a pic of an Evo being surrounded by subi's. It's an ongoing battle that will never end. There are things that I like about both cars, but I prefer the Evo, obviously.

 

actually the subaru spec c or type RAR is faster than an evo
but it cost more...

 

It is really not even a battke anymore. I go to subie meets all the time and they are really quick to admit how much better evos are. Besides that, sti is an evo's brother. Its funny when evo owners say they hate sti's, let me think, rakky bred, 4 cyk turbo, awd, japanese brembo brakes big wing... no they dont have anything in common at all.

I watched top gear STI vs. Evolution (Evo VIII vs. Same year STI). The top gear guys thought the Evo performed better, but would drive the STI over the Evo "but have no idea why". That just shows me how close the two cars really are.

 

I love both cars and driven both of em. Honestly, the evo exhaust cant hang with the boxer rumble, but subies cant hang mod for mod with the evo (power-wise). Looks are subjective, but of course im biased towards sharper lines as seen on the evo. I would take a subie if i was not into modding, but that just isnt the case. Really both cars are great depending on what you want the car to do.

Ninja-edit*** subies are a b*tch to work on. basic maintentance is a pain to do. subie owners will know.

I think all the subbies out there sound like glorified go-karts with the "boxer rumble" haha. I used to like the sound when I was younger, then I heard an Evo when they got on it and loved them more ever since. I say let the photoshopping begin! It'd be great to see some of the pics people could come up with on here.
