I had 0 hassle with my local dealership. The mechanic was the one that put the request in.

Some further away pics...but you get the point. Pink colored cracked clear coat etc etc. It makes the car look 10x newer and cleaner.

Another reason why Mitsubishi does not support their customer base because of ridiculous claims. Was their any problem stopping your Evo? The caliper paint was faded from street use? You are kidding? right? Next your going to ask them to repaint your under body because of wear from blowing dust!

Ridiculous? If it's covered under warranty do I not have the right to get it fixed? Whether it be fading or repair....Thats exactly what warranty is for. I think your speaking more perhaps from being denied by a dealer for something they that shouldn't have. Which would have nothing to do with my case and me using my warranty. If thats the case...im sorry. Call mitsu corp. yourself...it is covered in the warranty.

Is there anything in writing that states the calipers are covered?

Not 100% sure about that. I have a few Evo buddies that clued me into the warranty and i had no problem when i went to the dealer. You can pm me for their names. Maybe they can give you more info.

I know, like then we would expect them to replace the fading CF wings, or the poorly designed heat selection linkage... How dare we demand them to replace defective parts
