Winter setup is go (orange inside)

Spent the weekend painting my stock VIII Enkeis orange with a buddy. No proper shoot, just some pics I managed to snap in the two hours I had to get them balanced, mounted, and get ready for night class.

Let me know what you think!

Before...

After...

They REALLY pop in direct sunlight.

I used Rustoleum Real Orange Spray Paint. The exact one in this link.

http://doitbest.com/Spray+Paints-Rus...sku-789318.dib

And yes, sanded/primed/cleared. The whole deal.

Thanks guys!

Should have gone with White. I just got done looking at another thread of a white Evo 8 with white rims...looks fantastic.

+1 on the paint job though. Those turned out great from what I can see in the pics.

Looks awesome.

No go the white wheels for winter. I'm sure you won't be washing your car as much when it's freezing out so they would look terrible most of the time from brake dust.

why SHOULD he have done white? Because you like it? Obviously he likes orange thats why he chose that color. Im sick of everyone telling everyone else what to do with there cars. Thats the whole fun of modding a car. You get to do what you choose and not do what everyone else likes. OP i paint wheels also and am very impressed with the fininsh. They look awesome!!!!

I was considering white but this is Chicago. The streets are going to be white with salt about a week after the snow hits. White car + white wheels + white roads + snow = meh.

i thinks the orange looks sick and kinda matches w/ the amber turn signals in the tails.

nice job
