Finally back to showing the Evo some love!!!
Haven't received any of the parts yet. The manufacturers of the parts I ordered were all closed over the past holiday period. I believe some of the parts shipped out this past week and I'll receive them this upcoming week.
This morning I decided to remove the a/c system. The only pieces remaining are the two lines coming out of the firewall. I am going to have a buddy of mine help me remove those two lines as they are difficult to get to and he'll have a better idea of the best way to remove them without damaging them or anything else. I did not cut any of the connectors and the entire system can be reinstalled if so desired. Also, yes, I did properly dispose of the freon.

just pretend you are from jersey and pour it in the ocean
Well, unfortunately this project has been on hold till some point TBD. My wife and I recently went to file our 2009 taxes and instead of receiving a nice refund we owe...A LOT! So, most of what we purchased we had to turn around and sell to raise some cash. Back to the drawing boards.
Fortunately we have the new set of wheels and tires on the car. Here are some pics:

Hopefully later this year we will be able to re-purchase the items we recently sold, have them installed and have the car retuned. Until then she is just going to sit in our garage and collect dust.

We definitely aren't broke...just don't have extra money for the Evo right now.
