nice read... Are you planning on running the OE ECU with a flash?

Looks like a very solid though out build.

Yup, I plan on keeping the stock ECU and using having it tuned via ECUFLASH

Looks like a very solid though out build.
I've put a ton of time into plotting out the build. My fiance was ready to break up with me lol, because I would spend hours on end looking at different options and price to power and reliability comparisons.

I'm a mechanic at a small local shop. We have a great customer base and reputation so we're always busy. There are five people that work there. Two guys that do tires/oil changes/inspections. Then there is two other techs plus myself for everything else. I also take in a lot of side work that I do at my house.

You and me both dude. I can't wait to drive this car again. I'm hoping it's warm enough once I get it running again to put the Advans on right away.

It's one of my favorite mods to be honest. You won't regret it.

Just dropped my head off at a local machine shop. I talked to them about doing a normal valve job, cleaning, and resurfacing the head. I was going to replace the valve springs/retainers/seats by myself and do the valve stem seals also, but it didn't make any sense to do that if they're going to have it all apart for the valve job.

I should have more progress pictures sometime this weekend. She is coming along

Great thread man. Nice car.
But you know what the best mod that this car has? It is the recaro child seat. Gotta keep the kids safe. Great car man.
