Regardless, it looks great and im sure your happy with the end result.
Its a good thing our EVO's have projector style housings for our low beams. I wont get a 55W 6000K kit for a car with reflector style housings, for I think there might be too much glare.

if 55w 6k has a color like the 5k @ 35w...would you say 8k 55w is right near 6k 35w?

Yes.

DDM's website does say that the higher Kelvin temp for the 55 watt kit would equate to a 35 watt at the one step lower Kelvin temp.

Keep in mind when purchasing that over time most HID bulbs color shift due to usage (meaning the Kelvin temps increase), so a 4,300k bulb will get bluer over time.

I've seen this happen in my 2004 Acura TL with 64,000 miles.

I'm running the VVME 55w 6000k kit and its not bright at all. I can barely see anything on the road beside the 6000k 55w should have been a lot brighter but VVME sucks. I'm convinced with this kit. Cant believe how bright yours is.

Just ordered the 55w 4500k kit after watching some youtube video clips of both 35w and 55w.

i have this kit to from DDM tuning but my Bulbs are 6000K are it was an awesome upgrade! i would recommend to any RS or NON HID evo owner. one thing to keep in mind is although its plug and play i had to reverse the polarity by installing the plug the opposite way. it wasnt a big deal and they work great!

I have DDM kits (low and high) my my second vehicle. No problems. Though the high beams take a while to heat up and are only good after they are on for while.
