should i paint the jdm insert thing the same color as the whole thing? or is it different?

 

Leave it the way it is imo. Not to call u out or anything, but how did you buy and un-painted jdm rear? They come factory colors.

 

my brother is in japan right now, he got it for me, it was in a mitsubishi box and everything, idk? and when u said leave it the way it is...do you mean just paint the whole thing tarmac black, because when i look at the cars with jdm bumpers on here it looks like the insert is a different color

 

The insert is actually like a dark grayish color. When you buy them painted already the color is just the actual ABS material it is made out of. If you dnt mind me asking how much did it run you? Any pics?


p.s. in other words just paint the actual bumper leave the diffuser the way it is.

 

ya i beleive it is graphite grayish looking color....someone told me to paint the insert red, i was ugh wow idk lol.....i will post up pics when it is installed...it didnt run me anything...birthday present

 

Oh wow. I'll trade you brothers hahaha. I want one so bad. But my buddy isn't in Tokyo I was trying to find out how much it would cost me to get it shipped but he couldn't do anything for me. But yeah man I would leave it the way it is and just paint the rest TB. Cnt wait to see how it comes out.

The Diffuser you are refering to is black which is the mid section on the bottom and the rest of the bumper is the same color as the car.

^^^^correct me if I'm wrong but I think that if you are in the military they acutally ship it for you for free. I heard something of that sort.

In Japan you can goto the BX and have any item shipped as long as its not hazardes. I was there for a year from 07-08 and its simple and only cars they ship for free and it has to be the car you brought IIRC.
