please dont start with the bs the wing causes cops to come driving wild is what causese them to show up. LOL i have a time attack Riser APR GTC 200 wing and I dont get bothered not to mention the aggression of my body kit. once i put rims on ill have a whole show. My Z is the same way but way more things going on with it NO TICKETS. I was pulled over once because of my tails lights being out. I got pulled over twice when my evo was stock inside and exterior when I got it 2 year ago

 

the last two times ive been pulled over i asked the cop and he said he wouldnt have even looked twice if he didnt see the big wing

 

but you were breaking the law speeding or whatever he zeroed in on you because of what you were doing easier using the spoiler we are talking about driving normal not doing anything wrong no tail lights out them harrassing you because of the wing does not happened you were already doing wrong wing just made it easier for him to spot you doing wrong had you not been those cops would not have even cared just stared

 

i wasnt speeding or doing anything to draw attention i was rolling along doing the speedlimit like every other person on a 3 lane highway, and the time after that i was going 35 in a 40

alright so i figured out the route im going with for my build...

wingless
rally armour mud flaps
jdm rear lights
jdm amber side markers
and maybe some wind deflectors =]

 

what kind of spray did you use to coat these? i used a vht high temp black coating on my o2 housing, but its already flaking and its not even installed! lol

 

u need to use VHT high temp paint for MANIFOLDS, i got it at a local store here, resists higher temp than regular vht paint

 

yeah i got high temp header paint for the ic piping and my manifold and my o2 housing but it flaked off my manifold as soon as i started it up and drove it around

 

any prep work needed? I roughed my o2 housing up a bit, but i think i may do it a bit more. roughly how many coats did you use on your o2? is it still looking good?

 

i went over my o2, manifold, and ic piping with fine sand paper and then sprayed it on, all over them had about 4 coats, my o2 housing is still fine but the manifold ate it right off idk why
