Great write up. Looks a lot cleaner too. I was never a fan of those stock lights

Close but no cigar, IMHO. The red lines at the bottom are too thick.

To each his own I guess.

Personally, I'd like to stay away from chrome/shinny tails for reasons known...

Wish my red tails turned out as good as yours. I used Krylon red glass spray and that worked out really well but when it came time for the glossy clear coat, it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to (the clear coat turned out semi-gloss because I didn't give the paint time to dry). Still, I like them a lot better then the "Euro" stock tails. Maybe next time, I'll use this write up when I buy another pair of VIII tails.

I've considered to do this but was a afraid of it looking un-natural and cheap.. but it' looking good. Have any close ups of where the red and clear meet?

Noob Question - Um how do the Reverse lights look when it's being used with 7 tails?

thanks again everyone. i was a little worried myself about how it would look but in person they look great. you cant even tell their painted unless your right up next to them. as far as the reverse light goes its not white, its pinkish. im going to get some hyper white bulbs to see if itll make it a little more white than pink, but i doubt since the tail light is red. no biggie to me
