I still have the Toyo Proxies T1R that came with the car. I was thinking of putting those back on the new rims, since they have good tread left. They got the Nexen's for free due to a settlement, so I will throw them on, see how they act.

They will be "OK" for cheap tires but once you put some mileso n them they will scare you in the rain and bee useless when trying to push.

I had them on my 18X9.5's Ok for the cash but I went with some Bridgestone RE760's now.

This. A friend's S2000 came with N3000s on them and they were worthless for anything performance-minded.

If you look on a 8 inch wheel yes you can fit the 255 but it adds weight so anyone with performace minded they want to avoit adding like 3 pounds per corner I got lucky and my 245-40 were the sameweight as the stock Advans.

Yah not to hate or anything, but you need to get real tires.

The offset of those wheels is horrible.

I was actually very happy with my Nexen 3000s as OEM replacements on a DD. What do you guys recommend for the next step up price wise, keeping in mind it's a DD?

It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it!
