Hustling the RS around our local track 3 weeks ago. Really enjoyed the day
Brian, sounds like you need some Guru help there. Well beyond my abilities. Hope you get it squared soon
FameEvo. Liken your RS. Like the front bumper cover inserts. Looks clean & pretty low (too low for this old guy) but overall, looks great

Thats only for US models. In other countries, the RS has a wing, aluminum roof, steel rims and it doesnt have Recaro seats, aircon, sound deadening, power amenities, audio. There is also an RS2 model, combination of GSR and RS. It has auto-climate control, aluminum roof, SAYC/ACD, wing, power amenities, and rims. What the RS2 doesnt have are Recaro seats.
Here is a typical RS model. RHD models only. Available only in white

The RS2 is basically a GT model, except it is LHD and available for LHD countries except for the US. RS2 is only available in red and whote.

Still looking at that beauty. So I thought I add some to above:
And yes, that's the way the Rally Sports were delivered. Mine too. No buckets, 15" steelies, (mine, CP9A with window cranks) 5 gears only, and a lot of nothing - wrong. Strudy trans, different gear ratios box and diff., HD drive shafts, the right braces, modified body structure, most from the factory w/ twin plates etc.etc.. The reason being so is that the RS was strictly considered to be a purchase vehicle for rally teams. Thus these RS cars, at least sure on CP9A, likely for CP9A as well, did even come with small standard brakes on all four - cute lil serial standard stoppers.
Yes, that is the way it was. Rally car! Why so? Mitsu knew that the teams would tear out the seats, change/switch brakes for homologation or surface, race on matching wheels and finally put all kinds of branding on the car. That's the story in short on RS, and it may as well be a pure one too. RS this!
