i like the idea, think ive seen a white one with the same idea.

maybe put a design on it an repray the rest, so it will be polished silver where the design stays, and LY the rest of the hood, something a little low key, clean, simple. for an example: mitsu diamonds

i still like it, as long as its not ur only hood

 

i must be the only 1 thats diggin it.

it'd look alot better on say a silver or blue evo tho w/ unfinished/alum. rims..

I like it.. just would like to see it on silver.. and do the trunk and doors, but doors down the side to the rear.. I would paint just the outside of both the hood and trunk... that would look hot.. or rice as hell.. hahaha, just kiddin man.. I really do think its original though..

As far as I know only the hood is aluminum. Although I'm sure any metal can be stripped and polished to a shine, it won't be as easy and resistive to oxidation as aluminum.

 

yep, we also have aluminum fenders. The MR's and RS's has the roof as well.

 

At what point do you go from nice to rice? If thread was posted about a civic, you'd call him a ricer. I'm sorry, but that just look horrible.

The rust bmw is one of the coolest cars around for sure. I like the polished hood, but like you said its better for shows. VERY CLEAN LY man.
