They are unbelievably bright and very red. Also, when you're back further it isn't so obvious the light is coming from the little points that you can see up close.

I originally got them through that guy Curt that used to be a vendor on here but I think they came from here. It appears that the site is not working right now.

Sounds good, I might just buy leds for one side to compare them to my stock setup.

I used to have a side x side comparison. Let me look around.

Found the other pics. With the brakes on, both sides are pretty much killing the filter on the little camera I was using, but you can see the LED side is clearer as it doesn't wash out the inner light next to it.

Also, while the pics were taken right after another the problem with the digital camera I was using is that it adjusts itself to attempt the best light/coloring for every picture you take. It almost looks like the coloring is the same, but I assure you the LED is straight red where the filament has the typical yellow-ish orange. You can see in the final shot that the LED side is brighter, all things being equal.

Filament side - 1st pic lights on/2nd pic lights on + brakes

LED side - 1st pic lights on/2nd pic lights on + brakes

filament side on the left --- LED side on the right

Thanks a bunch, those do look a lot better than I thought they would compared to incandescent bulbs.

I don't do anything to get the attention of the Police, since they are already wanting to pull Evo's over.

If you're gonna run from the cops and they even have a chance to read your plate regardless of how easy it is to read, you're a brave soul, or stupid.
