Ive been laid off from work this week so i was board today and decided to spary paint my stock wheels flat black. i took a bunch of pics while working on them. first i took the wheels off, cleaned them, wet sanded the whole wheel with 400 grit, sanded out all crub marks, then sprayed about 3 or 4 coats to each wheel and lug nuts. i hope you enjoy. they came out well.

im thinking about painting the mits symbol in the center cap red.

3 cans of cheap paint = $9 bucks! can't beat that.

it was daytime when i started haha. took a lot longer then i thought i went ocd cleaning and sanding them thats why it took so long. ill take some pics in the daytime tomorrow.

 

DO NOT rice out with the red emblum... people know the car and they know they are stock enkei's from a MITSUBISHI LANCER EVOLUTION... don't need the red emblum to show that. Looks clean now, would leave it there. Will do this for my winters as i have a RR as well and flat black summer rims.

haha thanks for ur imput guys no offense taken. yeah its really dirty in those pics i try to keep it clean but its my dd so it gets dirty.

thanks, but no clear im just gonna touch up any spots every month or so flat black blends together so good its so easy.

yeah i know my car looks pink its cause i had to lighten up the setting in my cell camera and the light shining right on the car dont help.

 

how did you manage not to scratch the paint on the lugs i can never ever do that lol...they look good i love spray painting my wheels people think they always come out like **** but its actually very simple
