Looks good, but the bumper paint doesn't seem to match the rest of the car.

Also any issues with the hood not wanting to stay down seems like extra wind might cause it to come up more.

A long time ago I installed a wide intercooler so I had to cut out a section of the bumper where the oil cooler vent is. Since I was doing the nose chop, I repaired that section as well. It was pretty difficult cause there were 3 different angles I had to reshape.

As far as the opening causing the hood to pop, that's a no. It's really no different than a IX front bumper.

the top of the bumper is still bolted down the same

this mod can really have no effect on what you are asking
