I'm going to need new headlights after my wreck, anyone know if the 7 lights are a direct swap, or is there some mods to do?

 

i'm thinkin they are bolt on... eye ballin it, they match pretty well

would be a nice JDM touch...

 

whats different on the 7 headlights?

 

the orange reflector is on the bottom, on the USDM 8 it's on the top

 

The other issue would be that the light can be an RHD pattern so it will dip on the left, not the right, possibly dazzling oncoming traffic. You can adjust the lights to some degree to fix this, but the pattern is inherent to the construction of the lights, so try to get lights from a Euro VII

 

they are not HID

 

my hid ballast's seem to be ok, shouldn't I be able to take the ballast out and the bulbs and use them in the evo 7 lights, or is the bulb socket different?

The other difference is that the Evo VII lamps (at least the ones we sell) don't have a driving lamp. There's just a chrome dome where the driving lamp is on our cars.
