Well that sucks. Bought the tires less than a year ago and only put 126 miles on them, now I might have to sell them for minor rub of the fender liner. I wonder if I can get anything for them at America’s Tire since they have the mileage and did the install.
Ive just not read on anyone rubbing the fender liner at full lock on 245 and can’t find 235 pics on here
I just bought evo x wheels and i am about to buy new tires for them. I have read this thread to get an idea on what size tires i should buy. I came to 3 sizes which guys run. 235/45/18 245/40/18 (oem) or 255/35/18 i need some help deciding on what size i should go for. The car is on coilovers and i will not be using any spacers. So what size can i run with no issue of rubbing or anything. Any help is appreciated.

Little late on response but here is my take. 245/40/18 on some will rub the fender liner (please read, black fender liner not fender) at full lock left or right (like in my case with Michelins)
235/45/18 are less tall than the 245/40/18's and should have no rub at all though they are not as wide but they are lighter as in less rotational mass.
255/35/18's are ever so slightly shorter than OE but of course are heavier though I have not read about fender liner rub with these.
