agreed the cat is upside down.

if they flip it, the o2 sensor should be sticking straight up

at least thats how it was for my milspec 100 cell cat

The OP stated that if the cat were to be flipped it would interfere with the driveshaft. Your best bet is to plug the hole in he cat and screw the o2 sensor into the catback portion of the exhaust.

The HFC is the Ultimate Racing 200 cell metal cat. I got it from the ultimate racing vendor on this site. Construction of it is great, i wish it had a better o2 bung placement. I'm really happy with fitment and everything else. I'm going to stick the sensor in the catback asap, this car isn't my daily driver so i don't think anything will happen until I fix it. The sensor will be pointed sideways from the catback, which should be fine.

bumping old thread, lowevo_IX how did you manage to get your evo up on those ramps? I borrowed my uncles set, exactly like yours, for my downpipe and testpipe install and the ramps are way too high. It would hit my stock lip. Btw I'm on the stock suspension. lol

I fail to understand how any decent comapny can design the HFC, yet not take the position of the sensor into consideration.

Very disappointing.

I have to use a 2x4 in front of the ramp to get it to pick up just a bit before I pull onto mine. I have the same ones in the pic.
