The sides are kind of suede aren't they? I probably wouldn't recommend doing the sides.

The red does look good. I really don't like a bland monotone colored interior, so i like having my seats a different color.

Wonder how much of a PITA it was to change the color of RECARO on the seat.

I was scared to do this to mine at first, so I did it to the back seat in the very back were its not visible. It looked good so I decided to do all my seats. I couldn't be happier. Only down side is I don't like that the seats are rough from the paint. Its going to take time to break them in.

I used a metal brush two days after I painted my seats to soften them up. It worked good.

I see people have done Flat Black and Red. But has any one tried Silver? Dupli-Color makes it.

my rear seats have been black for a while. only problem is they feel stiff lol.

but they have to be broken in, and no one ever sits there.

i plan on black buckets up front so i've held off for the time being. the factory seat sits a little high for me.
