Thanks for the compliments guys, i'm shooting with a D90 although in my opinion the camera is only like 20% of the battle here.

You definately have the skills...you took the pics of justin car as well no? I am looking for a decent camera now but havent really made up my mind...the shots from the D90 look great though. How many mega pixels does the D90 come with?

The rear diffuser is from APR. This one is fiberglass, but for extra $ you can get it in carbon fiber.

What's left to say that hasn't been said already? I guess I would say that I wouldn't expect anything less with Robert behind the lens and Jim's car being the model Nicely done!

Yeah I did, and Justin's shoot was with a 6 megapixel D50. Photography is like 90% having a good understanding composition, lighting, and your equipment and 10% is the camera. The post proceccisng doesn't hurt either

The D90 i think is 12.1 MP but that really doesn't matter unless you are planning on printing out huge poster size images, spend your money on good lenses!

Great looking photos! Robert, one of these days, we need to talk. I might like you to take some photos of my S2000. I've got plenty of action shots of the car at various autocrosses, but don't have any "glamor shots" that I'm real happy with.

Anyway, I'm the guy who detailed Jim's car before the photo shoot. I think Jim told me you'd mentioned that I might like to have you take pictures of mine. If you're willing to shoot something other than an Evo, that is.

Hey Karl, i'd love to take some shots of the S2k man, I told jim to tell you i'd trade you a photoshoot for a detailing

Didn't you have a website too? PM it to me or post it in here and i'll update the OP with it. You really did do a great job, i usually spend a lot of time post processing the **** out of people's paint... but not for these.

Thanks, Robert! Jim's car is actually pretty easy to detail. His paint is in really super shape. I've never done a single minute of correction on it at all. The wax on it doesn't have any fillers in it, either, so that's straight car and no hocus pocus.

My website is Esoteric Details. I recently abandoned detailing full time, so the site is in the midst of turning into a blog. karl --at-- esoteric details --dot-- com if you want to talk offline about an exchange of some kind, so I don't screw up your thread. I don't get on evolutionm.net very much; I signed up to comment in this thread. Besides, when I come here, it makes me want an Evo, and that's not in the plan at the moment.

I use Swift Spec-R springs and the Whiteline roll-center and bumpsteer kits.

I agree, 1 is my favorite as well. No flickr account yet, I really should get one up soon though.
