so you are actually gonna do the rhd conversion.... thats cool that would be the only part i would be iffy about if i did it... id probably leave it lhd just to be a bit less conspicuous..lol... but it will absolutely look straight from japan being rhd thats for sure!

I wish we could figure out a way to swap the internals out of the rack. I want the quick ratio rack but I'm not gonna bother with the RHD conversion... Looking awesome as usual man!

So after all the money invested how much more would it have been to buy an actual LHD Evo 6?

This is illegal in the U.S. currently, that's why we build conversions. All the 1-6's that are here currently are either converted Mirages or they are vin swapped or some other shady means was used to get them here.

Original Poster:

I have an Evo 5 here in Atlanta. The shell was modified to accept all evo 8 running gear(engine/tranny, diffs, etc) so I have a complete car in parts from a genuine RHD Evo 5. The car is/was a rally car so all the diffs are Ralliart. Brakes/hubs are Evo 5 oem as well as RHD steering rack. It is all for sale, let me know what you want/need

Ditto this guy, there are no such thing as legal Evo 1-6's yet. only loop holes, loop holes that have huge grey areas that "ICE" likes to investigate.

id say OP has around 8-9K invested so far may be wrong I myself am about 85% done and im sitting at 11.5K
