I'm done responding to you because you are not here to converse, or understand. you're just posting to start ****. Have fun with that. Good luck at sucking at your next event.

Good luck in STU this year, I definitely think that is a tougher class then SM if there are a few national guys there.
Thanks. I just hope I get to run more events this year than last year. STU is very competitive in the SOWELA, and DELTA regions (where i run the most), not so much in CENLA, but I may be moving to either BSP, or back to SM. I do see where you're coming about the helpful teaching spirit of autocross. I hadn't thought of it that way. When i saw "spirit of autocross" my mind automatically went to the of the Spirit of Competition lol...really though, the competitive, racing of autocross. Not so much the friendship building, and welcoming nature.

Yeah, hopefully I can make that one. As for the event at NPR, we start a turnaround on July 3rd, and don't finish until mid August, so that's a no go.

Good video.

Autox is just about amateurs having fun. I never got the national competition stuff, seems like at that point, you should be road racing?

Autocross is about that for some. The guys out here take it pretty seriously. It's all about the competition. most of the guys at that national level probably do both. even at the regional solo level, I don't know of too many guys that don't road race and autocross.

most die hard serious auto-x guys don’t do any bigger track day stuff. All the national SCCA auto-x competitors I know only do the SCCA auto-x events and have their car set up perfectly to the max for their class and for the lower speeds (under 70mph).

I like a little of everything. I do auto-x, lapping days, ice racing, rally-x, anything that involves me behind the wheel.

I disagree. I do both autocross and HPDE and have alot of fun in both. Also, road racing is a huge step from autocross and even track days.

Ah memories...

Yes Andy,(EVOizmm) how did sucking at your next event go? Besides winning the 2012 SCCA nationals RTA class and breaking a few track records?

Good luck at Gingerman this weekend, sorry I couldn't make the trip.
