Wow, your car looks really nice. I sometime miss a/c but eh, I don't need it.

BTW......Alex. Yesterday....80-90 weather. City driving, highway driving.......on 2. Cooler then a fan homie. Now I need to find out why the freon isn't flowing when at idle. I haven't found anything on the ECU side about. Think the compressor could be faulty?

Hell yeah! I know for a fact that the compressor is not kicking on at idle. I am not sure what the cause, but it's definitely not cycling properly although the proper amount of refrigerant is in the system. Have you heard anything more about the evo9 ecu/tephra issue thing people were having?

I haven't been back on it yet. Been too busy. Hell I think I'll finally have a chance to text Tanner today about the flappers. My ghetto rigging didn't last. LOL.

I'll look more into it today. I doubt its the compressor since (didn't we) force it to come on at idle.

I had SOM look at the tune and it appears to be more mechanical. They took the car for a spin and logged and it was straight. They have the same "issue" with all the other QM8 cars. So I'll leave it alone. I may go to Exedy Triple next year.

Not that the QM was doing anything per se....but Alex noticed that when the car was really hard to move off from first gear that the AFR's were super lean. So we were thinking maybe the throttle tip in was askew.

I went to Spec-Ops for them to check it out. They drove it and logged and they said the "hard to move off with out some effort" was a QM thing. The tune was fine and the logs looked perfect. They said it felt like all the other QM equipped cars they have built.

And funny enough (not sure if it was a Placebo) the car is really easy to drive since that visit. LOL. I swear they did something but I was pretty much with them the entire time, so maybe its all in my head.

Either way I'm starting to enjoy the car again. Just gotta get rid of this check engine light and I think it will be 100% perfect.

Its a P0114 (I think). Replaced the Mivec cam sensor and it didn't go away. Replacing the cam sensor when I bring my wife's STi to get tuned in a month. Hopefully that will cure it.

Yeah I keep debating it as well but there really is no reason for me to upgrade.....the car moves out fast so while quicker spool would be nice i dont drag race so its kinda pointless. I have more power then i need so thats not a factor either.
