www.CarbonFabricSource.com has good prices on this stuff too. Nice salesmen as well.

The Di-Noc is more like a vinyl than a fabric-- it has adhesive already applied, just peel-off the backing and start carefully applying. It's also textured so it reflects light like real Carbon Fiber, but it only comes in the "dry carbon" look. I have a bunch at home and I'm going to experiment with spraying some clear over it in attempt to overcome that. We'll see how it goes.

Looks good.

Also anyone that's thinking about clearing the dry carbon look 3m dinoc. Already tried it, clear makes the vinyl just look black. Clear effects how the light reflects off it, and causes it to lose the carbon look.

what kind of glue apoxy are you using and i LOVE what you did with the roof.
You only need an additional glue if you are wrapping something with a lot of contours, or maybe on the edges if you want EXTRA assurance it is not going to come up.

Just clean it off with some spray detailer. Easy.

The roof looks a lot better than I thought it would!

If I didn't have a sunroof I'd probably do it.

Nice work!

Got to be careful though, not everything they sell is genuine 3m Di-noc. We used Di-noc on Got_boost's car. That is all I work with.

Like it. I would just worry about bubbling or pealing over time then having to get all that glue off the roof if you do need to remove it. PITB

To make it look wet, couldnt 3M clearbra be applied over the carbon-look vinyl? Or does other stuff not stick to it well?

I just found this site too that sells a wet-looking carbon actually
http://www.decalfx.com/carbon_2_sheets.html

It's genuine and clearly differentiated on the site.

no this stuff is textured to give it the look, you would not be able to clear bra it. also that wet looking stuff is junk in my opinion, its reallly shinny and really fake. if your just walking by my car and didnt know about this stuff, it hands down look like dry carbon.
