As per suggestions on here I started taking photos in RAW format and have been using Adobe lightroom to touch them up. All I can say is wow.. I wish I switched to this format a lot sooner. My photo's aren't the best, I'm still figuring out Adobe Lightroom but here's the outcome...
I used a Canon Rebel xT (a bit outdated but it does the job. I'm searching for a T2i right now though)...
