JDM Rear Exhaust Fit

I was looking to buy a JDM Rear Bumper for my IX and a friend of mine told me he has heard of fit issues with most exhausts you can buy. I was wondering if someone could tell me what the problem seems to be and if there are any aftermarket exhausts you can buy that are made for the JDM Rear. Thanks a lot guys.

I think you might have this in the wrong section.... BUT

I had bought a full exhaust from Japan for my EVO and it ran a little short (maybe an inch or two). I was told this is because the JDM rear bumpers are shorter since they don't have to deal with having a crash beam like the US version has. Other than that everything should be ok.

I have a jdm evo 9 bumper and it was pressing against my muffler so i put some insulation i had lying around inbetween the bumper and the exhaust. My wife drove it to the exhaust shop and all they had to do was shorten the exhaust pipe like an inch or two to make it fit perfect. It looks like a completely different car. The stock rear makes the butt end of the car look fat the jdm bumper adds so much to the look really clean. Dont forget to shorten your crash beam or buy a shortened one so you are still good in a wreck though. Many people i know have just removed it. I have two kids and no way on this earth im going to endanger them to have a cool looking bumper cover with out a crash beam.

Lies. It sticks out too far.

I had my Greddy Ti-c cut and it looks perfect. It only cost about $40 to have it cut and rewelded.
