The 17's look better than the 18's IMO on this car. Personally I would go with some Rims like the Enkie's that came on the Evo 7, or some 17's off of an Evo 8/9 MR the BBS's. If the offset is ok for this car. IMO that would look the best, and would not hamper acceleration.

I am also curous to why you have the Intercooler on? I mean if its the OEM Mirage 1.8 liter N/A motor, than why get a new Intercooler all dinged up? Just for cosmetics? or? If anything, if you don't want to do a 4G63 swap, than turbo that 1.8L it would make decent power for your needs.

Overall the car looks great. I love the Evo 5/6 but at the same time I take function over fashion. Don't worry about rims and tires and get that 4G63 swapped in!!!

I would agree to this IF the car was White. Bronze doesn't look good on Red IMO.

I think the gaping mouth of an "Evo" missing intercooler would look absolutely awful. I don't like interfoolers, but in this case I can make an exception.

wouldn't you agree that some nice OEM Evo 7 rims or OEM BBS's off the 8/9 would look WAY better?? On this car being red?

as for the "interfooler" I know what your saying, but that thing cost money, be a shame to have it all jacked up without it ever being used. Just stop buying rims and tires and buy a bolt on turbo kit you should be able to run 6-8 psi on that bish with no issues, then you can acutally USE that intercooler, haha.

^^Yes I do agree with that, I was just comparing what he had vs what he has, and I think it looks better now. It would look even better with some different OEM wheels from another Evo. Im a big fan of mix matching oem wheels. I run the Evo X MR BBS wheels powdercoated black on my 2004 WW RS VIII. I also run the RAM SRT-10 wheels (22") on my Chrysler Aspen SUV.

Sorry, I love the white wheels...Made the car look more authentic. Can you get those in a 18 inch?
