Some new shots with post processing
You could also bring a tad bit more light into the picture. (Adjust shutter Speed) This will help bring out more details in the darker areas. The last picture is just about perfect. The Others are good too, but alittle on the darker side. Keep it up! looks good so far.
Are you shooting in RAW?? and do you plan to do Photo Editing??

yup. couldnt agree more. pictures are great, pretty crisp, but it's all about lighting. once you nail the lighting with a good location, you can polish just about any turd.

Wow, thanks for the pointers guys. This really helps. I hope no one minds, I'll probably try some more shots and apply some of the techniques people have mentioned in this thread. DetroitRA thanks for the tidbits about what you use to post process. I'm going to try but some of those options might not be available I'm using Adobe CS the first version lol.
To answer a few questions, I have an AMS TBE, I'm going to get that dynomax vt muffler installed soon so I should have a shortened exhaust soon. I used to dig the sticking out look cause I thought it was aggressive but now it looks like a ricer.
Also I'm lowered on JIC coilovers, kinda low, thinking of raising it some.

With your entry level DSLR I would simply try to master the "auto settings" then get into tweaking your WB, apertures, f-stop, etc.
Master the basics and move on from there. Great shots just need some tweaking. WW is my fave ix color - keep it up!
^ The photo above is slightly over-processed but you get the idea!

Other suggestions when taking photos of cars. Make sure you don't have things magically growing out of the car like Trees (usually a single tree unless your in a forest), light pole, pillars.
Think about the shot before you take it. Consider location, lighting, background, etc. Don't be in a hurry to take a picture.

Ouch, yea I know the home depot lip isn't pretty but until I get better at autocrossing I'm not investing in a real lip. I am still hitting cones and would cry if I hit a cone and cracked a CF lip, thanks for your comment though
Here is another good website for tips and it also has a Camera simulator, it allows you to change Shutter speed and Aperture, Film Speed, Camera Shake. Its a good site to understand what the settings will change and what the picture would look like with the different settings.

All you need to do is work more on your lighting, White Balance, spacing, and be afraid to get creative!
Also i'd suggest for you to get a tripod...they come in very handy when you're messing around with taking shots at high ISO's.
