What are the best seats?

General question for you guys.

How do the recaro's feel? Are they good enough to keep? Good support, comfortable, hug you in those tight corners?

Anybody swapped em out or from previous experience prefer Bride or Sparco or Cobra etc.?

Discuss!

I like the seats but im small framed and found myself wanting more support at the race track.. (not complaining though.)
anyone know where to get a hold of a JDM evo 7,8,FQ seat?
would love FQ seats but would settle for drivers side evo8 seat out of a jdm evo to match passenger side usdm seat.

also. any pictures of MR seats? any different?

Ive got Recaro SP (i think, cant remeber, the harness slots are different to SRs but same shape almost, actually same as RECARO PROFI SP-A but not a bucket) front then molded backs to match, they are awsome.

Are you looking for a nice comfortable daily driving seat or competition seat? You have to remember that Bride seats will be very tight because they were made with the average Japanese tuner in mind (short and small-waisted people) and competition use. So don't get those if you're tall and eat a lot of burgers because you'll suffocate sitting in a Bride seat. Trust me, I know. I'm only 5' 7" but I have a waistline of 32 right now and when I sat in my friend's Bride seat, I needed help getting out because it was so tight. Tight is good for competition, but not daily driving.

The stock seats are excellent, but if you had to switch, get Bride Ergo IIs or Brix IIs, if only because their logo is so cool:

Here's my vote !

They fit me alot better than the stock Recaros, especially for track days, it makes a big difference because I used to slide around in the Recaros and these Brix's have higher side bolsters to keep my butt in place.

Not for big boned ppl however, I might add.

Not that the stock ones weren't comfortable. I have Sparco Torinos in my Galant and they really aren't as comfortable as the stock Recaros and they aren't very in good either in terms of support.

That's my 2 cents anyway.

Drew, Is there a roll cage in that thing?

I've heard a lot of good things about the Recaro SRDs.
