Which BC's did you have and what spring rates did you have? Which KW's do you have and what spring rates? Who set up both set ups?
Im building this car for me not you so I dont really care if you disagree. I took the $2K I saved and bought an Exedy Twin clutch. Besides, dont come in my thread and run your mouth without proof and personal first hand experience. Post up all the details, pics, and proof of how horrible your BC's were. Show me the failures, show me lap times, show me something other than an opinion. Because thats all you got. The perfect budget option for suspension would be the Bilsteins on Swifts and sway bars, we all know that. But then you have a car with no adjustability and I wanted mine lower. No one ever said this is the perfect car and I am definitely not building a track car. If I was it would be on Motons or JRZ. Would you approve of those? LOL... Its a daily driver that will do just fine at the track. And a side note, my $4k Ohlins Motorsport Coilovers failed the first day on my Audi RS4. My point is nothing is perfect even if its expensive... Thanks for sharing nothing but an opinion without supporting facts...
And dont throw that unless your sponsored by them crap. Do you see it labeled in my sponsor section? I bought these retail private party just as anyone would. I just found a nice deal on them
Look at my piosts and you can see clearly where when and how much I paid. Big difference between $1K and $3K....... Thats just my opinion....

Well a Shep ultimate ratio 5 speed is confirmed
I had great luck with the last one I just couldn't resist the swap. I am going to wait until after the meet though. Can't miss another meet
but it is all set up. I am really uncomfortable with the 6 speed. A friend is dying for it so it's a good opportunity for me to make the swap. It's unbelievable how well the Sheptrans shift. I was able to snag gears effortlessly in the RS so I am a little excited for the new unit.
And I am proud to announce my son is standing on his own now at only 10 months. It's awesome to watch and he is also already taking steps. He spent most of theday on his feet instead of his a$$
lol.

lol.oh yeah...congrats on your little buddy walking...
Thanks everyone. I wanted this to be a fun thread anyways so that's why I'm posting other things. I am so proud of him and enjoy posting pics. Gotta break it up so it's not so serious anyways. We had fun but its nice to be home. Now I need to get back to working on the car
Munchkin with his gear

Family terrorizing my son

Finally standing and taking steps

Just hanging out...

What an angel. He slept on the plane up and back.

06MREvo-Yeah I wasnt planning on it right away but my buddy wants my 6 speed. I helped him buy an RS this week and he likes the 6 speed. He doesn't drag race or road race so I can understand. I obviously wouldn't install the 5 speed without the Shep treatment
So I called over there yesterday to set it up and get some information. I was going to do some custom ratio's but I want to be able to defend my stock turbo record if needed. If I do a road race ratio I will kill it at the 1/4. I am not building a T/A race car anyways so the ultimate ratio is perfect for daily and 1/4
I am going to leave the big stuff alone until after the Procco event. Once I get passed that I will do the turbo, cams, mani, 5 speed, and clutch. I cant wait...

Congrats Brian! He's walking! That must be a awesome feeling bro.
By the way your car is looking great. As far as bc coilovers go, I sell them, I swear by them, and I love them. Imo they are just wonderful coil overs. Keep the pics coming. Ill post some progress pics of your manifold as soon as i can!

Thanks Collin. Definitely post up some pics
Cant wait to see that beauty... The car is running great and I have been driving it quite a bit lately... I upped the boost slightly and it is impressively quick for such little mods. I may have to run it one time
LOL...
