Repainted my wheels and brembos
Well, my brakes were looking rather tired and faded, and my wheels were all nicked up. So, I decided to get off my butt and do something about it. I went for a rather different color scheme. I know some won't like it because: A) it's spray paint
B) not an OEM brembo color
I spent half the day sanding and prepping. It was a lot of work, but considering the price and self-satisfaction, it was totally worth it. Overall, I'm happy with the results. I used Rustoleum graphite wheel paint and VHT blue/clear coat caliper paint. I had an extra VHT clear can so I cleared the wheels as well. I used 400 grit sand paper on the calipers and a red scotchbrite pad on the wheels. I will get some better pics with my digital camera later. For now, I'll have to post the pics from my iPhone. On to the pics...

Thanks for the comments guys! The hardest part really is the prep work. If your calipers are faded, it's the best alternative. Especially since the paint is 900 degree resistant.

Looks good.... I could not find the Rust-oleum wheel paint anywhere near me, so I decided to go with the duplicolor, wish I didnt... didnt come out to bad, but not as good as what I have seen with the rust-oleum....
Great job!
if you guys are scared of overspray, then tape off other areas really well. You could also use wet wax(or detailer spray) and give the other area a good soaking before painting.
