My 9 sec Evo!!
Hey guys! Went to the track today and got some very good out of it. At first it didnt look like we would have been able to go cuz the weather didnt look so promising. It rained all morning and stopped around 12:30. It took 2 and a half hours for them to dry the track before they opened. Track prep was pretty bad at the beginning. I prolly make 7 passes tonight and went 9.8-9.9 everytime. I was very happy i was consistent. The 2nd pass of the night i cut a 1.68 60ft spinning and trapped at 147MPH!!!!! That i believe is the new MPH record for any stock appearing turbo. The best pass of the night was a 9.82@144. It was real close to my 9.78 pass but the track was not in my favor. Might be going back next weekend. I am very happy with the trap speed and the slip will be up in the morning a long with some pics and videos.

UPDATE! Well its about that time of year where the weather is getting crappy and the car has to be put away till spring. The weather for this saturday is going to be 64 and sunny, so i decided im making one last trip to the track to see if I can better my 9.7 pass. Last week i went and managed about 5 9.8 passes and trapped the highest of 147MPH!! I was really happy about that. The way the car sits I believe it can go 9.6-9.5, its just a matter of getting the 60fts more consistent. I have cut multiple 1.4s so hopefully saturday track prep is good and i can cut a 1.45 again or better. Either way this year has been awesome. The motor blew on May 1st and the car came from that to what it is now. If I dont go faster tomorrow, it wont really bother me cuz this year was awesome and i cant complain. Strictly Modified really did an amazing job for me in working hard and getting it done for the shootout and all those late nights getting it ready for the track days all those weekends. Awesome group a guys over there at SM, and i suggest them to anyone for there performance needs and service! Without them the car wouldnt be what it is today.
