Postin updates tonight.... Progress this comming week!

 

Powder coated the turbo... Candy purple... Polished dump tube and burnt the tip.

For some reason the camera can't see the purple.

 

Finished up body work on wing.... Played with this idea... Maybe too much.

 

Finally primed the sucker!



Trunk was sprayed as well

Needs alignment etc but you guys get the idea

 

please, please, please no wing. it would take away from the lip you made and just be too much.

 

agreed, no extra wing needed. The custom looks bad a$$ enough!

White line steering rack **** finally came in.

Gotta ripp the rack back out! Fun fun fun!

 

Cage is poilshed up blingin hard!

Now this is the time to decide on powder coat.... In order for the brass or gold powder to give that mirror effect it needs to be buffed before sprayed, or the finish comes out dull.

Regardless it was gettin the buff!

It was a b!tch to do because you need to sand through 6 different grades of paper to get a nice mirror result!

 

I'm really feelin the buffed natural thing.... Although contrast would be cool.



Whatever is chosen I'm stuck with it once it's welded into place.

if you like the polished cage, go polished. it's yours! it won't glare sunlight in your eyes or anything, will it??
