What made you go the 42r route vs. the HTA 3794 route?

Thanks!

3794 is a bad **** turbo, hell they are both bad *** turbos.

Tial went through my 42 so now it's It's a 72mm wheel, a 4294. With a 1.01 hot side Ball bearing water cooled.

I've always been upgrading turbos and find myself pissing away money....

Went from stock to Ported....
Then ported to FP green...
Then had green ported
Then to FP Red ported...
Then to FP Black...

In each seneario I turned up the boost to warp 9, after a short time I had meet the limitations and was somewhat unsatisfied... Although have to admit the Red was the most fun!

Most driving I do is on the highway... this past season just couldn't find the time for the track. This season I'll have to make the time!

Essentailly I would like to see 800whp and a 9sec pass...yes there will need to be serious adjustments/work to my setup to adapt/produce the power. I dunno what the 3794 is rated for but I can guarantee the 42 is up for the task.

Gotcha. The 42r will put you well within your goals. I'm running the 3794 and hope to have dyno numbers by december but we will see. The 3794 is also capable of 800whp on a low reading mustang dyno.

Out here in AZ i see a lot of gold / bronze items. Especially wheels. May just be something out here. Im not saying its ugly, just seems like a lot of people are doing gold these days. Maybe its because it looks good LOL. Just not my fancy.

thats fricken awesome looking, the interior of your cars gonna look like something out of a Verne novel haha. I like the direction that coppery brass will take you, especially with the green

Personally I prefer the understated look of the polished over the golden colors for the cage. It will pop, but not look overdone IMO.

how in the world is polished a "more" understated look than brass? i would think that the filtering of a colored finish makes for a more understated look in ANY situation.

The mirrored pipe look had a serious bling to it, the cage was going to be a "WTF is in that dudes car" drew attention Away from the cars exterior...

Did you decide to do the black suede interior? It would be cool to have gold stitching done as well since you decided to do the gold cage.
