Angry Got the new rims on today...

Well, long story short... took the wheels in to get monuted...

they cracked 6 of the 8 center caps, and put a 4" scuff on the one 28's lip... it's not that noticeable, but me being a perfectionist, it's just ****ing eating away at me...

the shop says they will pay for the centers, but is telling me there's no way his machine could have done that to my wheel...

i'm like WTF...? it happened here... either your machine did it, or some fuggin grease monkey dropped my ****...

So, what do i do now...? get a lawyer...? I mean, this is gonna cost me over 500 to replace, and i doubt i'll even be able to get my hands on one for a few months... it's not like these LE28's are just laying around in warehouses...

i'm having no ****ing luck with this car over the past 2 weeks... i'll probably get car jacked and have a broomstick shoved up my ***, when i take my trip to Z1 auto Friday...

i'll post a few pics tomorrow if i have a few minutes... it just sickens me everytime i think about it... which is every ****in minute...

That sucks, it seem you are having all the luck. Didn't you just post that your window got all scratched up when u got them tinted. I remember when I took one of my wheels in to get a flat fixed. The wheels were gunmetal, and when i got them back there were all sorts of scratches on the lip of the rim. I was like wtf, but the shop just stated that the machine they use to remove the tire can scratch up the wheel. It sucks but I lived with it. I feel your pain

This kind of stuff always happen to me. You try to do something a little nicer/better, but you break/ruin/lose/scratch something else in the process.

Freakin' dealer scratched every one of my stock Enkei putting winter tires on. Of course, the scratches were there already . I'm a perfectionist also, but I'm trying to become more laid back so everything doesn't **** me off so much.

Good luck with your rims...

Where did you go, so I know not to patronize them? It's tough to find a place to mount low-profile tires on rims properly. Very tough.

just a local place called Henise tire...

they gauranteed me they wouldn't scratch the rims, which is the only reason i went there... i usually travel 45 minutes to a shop in Allentown to do tire mounting for me...

****ing morons...

i had the same problem too. i got mine done at goodyear. they scrathced my rims up because their supose to turn the rim around so that it would just scratch the back... plus, i went on a friday to get it done and they broke/rip on of my rims so i had to order one that night and get it done the next day

Always keep a bat in your trunk in the event that things don't go your way I'd also like to know where (i.e. Discount Tire) you had the tires mounted.
