We don't have an option for purple We may be able to find another anodizer that can do purple.

Yes very durable! Aluminum naturally forms an oxide layer to protect itself. Anodizing uses electricity to form a thicker oxide layer. Aluminum oxide has a hardness comparable to some hardened steels.

So really it can't chip like paint.
