Getting my Brembos redone!

So i curbed one of my rims today (I about killed myself when i heard the awesome sound of rim against a concrete curb ) anyways i am gonna be getting it fixed and re powder coated @ TCC in the next couple of days and decided since i wont have a wheel, might as well get the brembos done too.

My brembos are horrendous to look at. The clear coat is almost 100% off all of them and they look like a mix between white and pink brembos. look real bad. Anyways i have been thinking about how i want to do a color scheme under the hood and for the car overall and i decided to go with a Apex silver and flat black look with accented brembos and valve cover. all the inside of the engine bay will be black or flat black and the valve color will match my brembos.

anyways here are the colors i am pondering about getting them redone in. also i will be using black brembo decals on them, just don't like the white look.

here are the options:

Candy Apple Red (black Brembo decals):

Black (of course i will have to use white decals on this)

Lollipop purple (atleast i think it is called this) its the VC color, also never seen brembos done in this color, anyone have any shots of some?

(this is absolutely one of the sexiest engine bays i have ever seen and i love the purple color! this is shawnas evo "4g63girl". love the way she did the purple but i think the only color evo that could pull this off would be a black one like hers. don't know if it would all "work" in an Apex Silver evo. thinking about doing the brembos in this color as well as the VC but it may be to bold for me so idk)

any suggestions??

thanks!

oh and a pic of the car if you haven't seen one yet:

Your brakes look great as-is, why powdercoat em?

I'd go with the candy apple red. Carlos recently refinished a set of brembos for me in the same color and they came out amazing!

its funny cuz that front side actually does look pretty good even though the clear is peeling, the other side is the bad side and i feel that it wont be long ubtill my drivers side front goes.

as for the AS and black decal scheme, i thought that would look pretty good as well, but i want my brakes to kind of "stand out" against the black rota grids like the stock red ones do. thats why i am leaning to candy apple red or purple ( something a bit different but not to much

if anyone has these color brembos already redone on a AS please post em up

It's definitely a tough choice on color.
One thing though, that particular purple that is on Shawna's valve cover we can't do on calipers. It's a combination of how that color is cured and how we coat calipers with the Brembo decals underneath the clear. We are doing a set of purple calipers for a customer here shortly, we will post those pics as soon as we have them completed.

If the choices are the Candy Red or the Black, I would go with the Candy Red.
Of course there are thousands of colors you can choose from, if you want something custom we can make it happen for you.

If you have any other questions please let me know.

silver looks good with any color. i was going to do yellow calipers with black decal behind gloss black wheels. they stick out very well, and kind of a normal color on higher end sports cars like Porsche. in the end, its your car. choose something you like

heres a pic from another forum member (ChuckP)

Do a bright color, purple would be different. Or that yellow would look awesome as well.
