Wanted to update the group on my 2.5 year quest to prep my EVO for Track Day use ( Not completely Done=)

Skunk Customized Coil Overs w/ Eibach Springs
Rear 25mm Sway & rear bushings (WL)
ADVAN RGII 17x9 +29 w/ Nitto NT05 275/40 (Fully Fitted & Cleared for Track Use)
No Internal Motor Mods
CBE w/ High Flow Cat
Nisei Comp FMIC & pipes
Full E85 Mods (Injectors / Filter / Pump) Tuned to 385WHP
RS Trunk has been stored & replaced w/ take-off trunk & nine wing (New trunk badges on the way)
A small pile of other non essential Mods

how do you like that scroth harness? that is the one that requires no bar or attachment for the straps and works automatically correct? The car looks great too! although i really think a jdm rear would be a perfect fit with your CF trunk.

I like. Very clean. Meaty tires.

 

I added a couple of pics that should fully explain how the harness mounts. As with some Mods, its not for the faint of heart. You can still seat 4 if you revert back to the stock harness & simply use the quick disconnect. You will lose the middle seat position

BTW, No CF trunk here. Thats the OEM steel =)

OP could have taken the easy way out with some 215, but what's the point in that?

Wanted to make the RS a bit more edgy to complement the 275's. I have 2 trunks for the switch. Certainly was not going to drill wing holes in my RS trunk
