i'm still iffy on suede. i dont like how it lays wierd after being touched. if i did it i'd constantly be brushing it so it looked uniform. a couple comments...
i used 3m super 77 in my prelude when i did my headliner, sunroof, and rear deck black.

it worked fine until it got real hot out. then the glue decided not to stick well and i had lots of bubbles
so i re-wrapped it all in navy blue marine vinyl and used this stuff called tacky glue

its like super strong elmersish glue that you have to squeeze on and spread with a rubber glove. but i've had that setup for 6 months now and its been holding up primo.

lastly, i sprayed my old integra seats with that same fabric paint and they started to fade quickly too, just from extended use, but since my visors dont get much use i decided to spray them with it and they've been holding up minty for 6 months
lemme know if this helps.
carbon wrap looks awesome btw

yea bro let me know when u get the stuff and wanna start.. MR first tho
A heatgun wont help with suede. Only vinyls.
Also, the reason you have so much issue getting the headliner out is you took it out the wrong door. Why would you take it out the smallest door on the car? Front seats all the way reclined, it will go out the passenger front door with ease.
I will also be at MIR on sunday. Ill be showing so if you see my car, and a really tall blonde kid, say whats up!

well this was the first time i removed the headliner tried different methods on taking it out and it worked fine coming out the rear door.. soooo YEP!
I havent done my evo yet but i did my gti's interior a few years ago and it never fell. i bought headliner adhesive from an autobody supply store and i also stripped the original fabric.
either way looks good, hopefully the supper 77 holds up, im just not a big fan of 3m spray adhesives.

Looks good considering the materials used.
Comments:
1) You should have used the 3M Hi-Strength 90 spray adhesive. It has a larger temperature range and will prevent the issues the gent with the Lude had.

2) If you went to all that effort for Suede, why not spend about 5-10% more and get Alcantara fabric? It would have less nap, and match the material used on the seats much better, as well as superior color retention.
Not trying to steal your thunder. Just curious.
