The ones that I have seen have had decent fitment, but the major issue is the clear-coat and yellowing.

Some people say removing the tension rods that hold up the trunk lid when its opened corrects the slight fitment issue.

mine fits. I heated the tension rods a little to get the problem of one side being higher than the other. With stock rods in and no wing the thing flipped open really bad as well. Little heat to each one and it leveled the trunk and it doesnt fly open. Be careful too much heat will make it where it wont stay open on its own. Its also very tense heating the rod up in the car while its under tension.

Just some pics to show you the gap on mine.

This is how I ran all the lines over to the latch area for a little cleaner look.

I have the seibon trunk lid on my Lancer. I took the tension bars out and installed a trunk lift kit (shocks). Did not really have any fitment problems. Mine has yellowed of course and started fading(turning white). My biggest issue with it is it has kabillions of lil 1/2" cracks all over it. Id assume they are stress fractures from having an evo wing on it for a few months.. Now I have a rexpeed lip on it. but all I know is.. It looks like hell.

The fitment on mine isn't too bad but it has definitely yellowed. I dont' mind though because I prefer the look of the carbon fiber wingless trunk.

My friend has this trunk and hood on his VIII. He reports 0 issues, and his hasnt faded at all yet. It also sees alot of sun here in the Texas heat. I can vouch for him as far as fitment goes. Fits perfect on his car.

pop your trunk and look for the two rods going across the rear of the trunk attached to the arms. Very simple.

I have. Bought the used Chargespeed CF trunk for 200. It was faded and had holes from the wing. Filled in the holes, sanded it down and painted it white. Had to to mess with the latch so it pulls the trunk in tighter but now it fits like a glove. You can't tell its a CF trunk. I also took the torsion springs out and made my own custom bracket to keep the trunk open.
