it'll fit if you modify it, or just buy the JDM version

Don't know if the HKS Hi-power and Carbon-Ti have same dimensions and bends , but when I installed my Carbon-Ti I didn't get the pipe shortened at all. All I had to do was trim the rear inner part of the exhaust exit port on the bumper and just have the exhaust hangers adjusted. Here's a pic :

sorry, this is the best pic i have right now. The muffler had to be trimmed back 2 inches and lowered a little bit, but looks and sounds great, i love it!

couldn't find and do not mean to thread jack but was wondering if anybody knows if the megan racing catback Black one (http://www.extremeturbosystems.com/M...duct_info.html) would fit with no modification on a evo?

i have the JDM rear and HKS hi-power i didnt have to modify anything. (HKS down pipe, test pipe, Hi-power) maybe the entire set up is the difference for some people.
sticks out about an inch and a half and with some tightening you can get it to sit dead center

only pic i could find real quick

Here's mine. Just did the conversion about a week ago. I had to cut a slit on the exhaust and bend a little more then weld back. Looks nice though. I've posted before and after pics.

yours fits like my carbon Ti used to lol I had to do some trimming as well. I wish I had just trimmed the exhaust in the first place. it looks a lot better with about 2-2.5" cut off. I'm thinking about selling mine and just buying the real JDM one.

I personally like how my exhaust tip sticks out a tad bit from the rear bumper , prevents the center diffuser section of the jdm rear bumper from collecting exhaust gunk
