i got a red rs and a red gsr

 

no.. Rs wiring harness does not come with factory plugs for hids. I learned the hard way. I bought hid headlamps and theywont fit on my rs. Nothing plugs together!

 

How about you loan me the red rs

 

I chose to get rid of the HIDs because I am not a fan of non-factory HID headlights. The bulbs were too blue, and the ballasts were just zip tied in the engine bay. If they were factory, they would have stayed.

The car definitely cleaned up nice, and I am very happy with it so far! My girlfriend doesn't like the fact that it has manual locks, and no mirror on the sun visor, but we don't take my car out that often. Usually driving the Prius

I was hoping to get HID's and bolt them into stock locations, if possible. I have been looking for Evo pics with the bumper off to see where the stock ballasts mount, but no luck yet!

 

IIRC, you'd need an entirely different harness, if you want to use factory parts.

Factory ballasts mount as part of the headlight themselves. I have a set of these aftermarket 10k HID headlights and ballasts that use the factory wiring, if you are interested in buying them. $40 shipped.

 

10K is too blue for me - I plan on doing a 55w Kit with 5500 or 6000 max. Thanks, though!
