Personally I think it looks ok but on a bigger note I just think as prices of evos get more affordable its easier for people to buy them. So in turn I see them getting riced out and ruined very often. They are turning into Hondas. When I ever go to a shop or somewhere car related they always coment on how clean and unmolested my engine bay/car is, almost surprised its not a hacked up, spray painted, wrapped, useless modded evo. That tells you alot to what's happening to our cars. But its alot of cars too. M3,especially. Its a shame really. But what can you do. I just hate how I feel like I'm being associated with the Honda crowd! Rant over......

Yo bro, we can't live without haters!!! Wheels look nice, digging the different look. Tired of seeing the same S**T. Build your car to your liking, not someones opinion. But SERIOUSLY PUT THEM ON ALREADY LOL.

wow this thread is something else. wheels arent my style but they do look like they will match your car well and the workmanship is nice, i hope you can get the kinks worked out and get them on soon. my only advice is dont get too crazy with that carbon wrap, i think it looks good if its used tastefully in small amounts but if its all over the car, inside and out, i think that is definitely overkill and some money should be spent on real carbon..that being my opinion of course. good luck to you.

The haters are the same people who will post pics of their Advans or Volks after they curbed em and cry about whether or not they can be repaired.

Then cry more when they realize that they will never be able to sell off ther expensive wheels anymore because the paint is no longer original and it does not match the others.

The Rota guy will just drop another $150, buy another wheel and go about his day.

So many haters, within our own community. That is the real fail in this thread.

Keep the thread clean. If you don't like what the OP has done then great, they're not going on your car so keep your opinions to yourself.

Thanks everyone. Today is the last day on these rims and tonight/tomorrow I will try and see if I can do some cutting and get it not to rub. I cant really put them on until my studs and spacers get here.

I had a feeling they wouldn't clear the calipers Did WheelDude say they would clear or was it a "buy at your own risk" type of deal? The P45R 2 has a very similar lip/spoke profile as the SVN-R so I would imagine you need a ~8-10mm spacer, correct?'

Also who suggested running 245/40/18 tires on this setup? When running an aggressive fitting wheel I would highly recommend going to a 255/35/18 tire. Your current tires are taller than stock and are the reason you are having scrubbing issues with the sideskirt area and inner fenderwell. The 255/35/18 would require slightly more camber however overall fitment would be much better and also offer better performance.

My last tires I had a issue rubbing in the rear so I went with 245 rather than 255. The reason Im having that issue is because 1. The wheels wouldnt clear brembos so I have to use spacers. I f I didnt need spacers, I wouldnt have a issue.

Wheeldude wasnt sure if they cleared Brembos because no Evo owner has purchased them for their site. I kind of went off of the P45 because I knew some people had them so I was ready to use spacers. Kinda wish I did 255 but I think Im good
