Silk's MAP 2.4 HTA3586 Build

Been working on it since december. Should be starting within the next week.
Lemme know what you think.

MAP Stage 2 2.4L bottom end
MAP stage 1 cyilnder head
Turbo Trix Exhaust Manifold
FP HTA 3586
FIC 2150 High Z's
Full Blown Twin Walbro
Spoolin Up Tuning Non-CDI COP
Buschur 4.5 inch BFIC
Tial 50 mm BOV
Stock throttle body
Stock Intake Manifold
Exedy Tripple disc
Shep Ultimate Ratio 5 speed
Shep stage 2 transfer case
Stock ECU on speed density













Dont know what got in there

MAP cylinder head

Buncha goodies

Shaved valve cover

Mocking up and assembling MAP 2.4

FP HTA 3586

Spoolin Up Tuning COP and freshly powder coated valve cover

Exedy Tripple all bolted up

Motor in the car!!!

I wanted to put the gate out the top like that with my build, what about rain?

Once the car is up to temperature the dump tube should be hot enough to to evaporate any water that might fall on/in it. I try not to drive it in the rain too much anyway.

If I park it somewhere and I know theres a chance of rain, im fabbing up a little metal cover to slip over it :-)

what was your guys time frame from the first pic to the finished product... looks like everything came together quick but pictures don't have times! haha.

and what the heck is that lip doing there. you accidently left your roid pills open for your home depot lip to have. looks cool if its flexable for any bumps and stuff...

reading>me... since december. good work and pretty quick in my books.

Nice build!

I'm curious, is that a volvo lip on the evo? I used to have one of my old EP3, I've never seen one on an evo though.

Im lookin at a similar catch can setup as yours. Im guessing you got rid of the pcv valve?

Ok so the third opening on the catch can is going to be routed onto the intake before the turbo? Is the can vented as well?

I know you'd never do this, but imagine a flapper on it like the one's on tractors...
