I have ACPT on my STi, they are great! Its nice to remove that weight off the driveshaft. I'm not sure about what you get power wise, I know it makes the throttle response more crisp! I would of thought they had these already for Evos. Looking to buy Evo soon, just have to wait for the right one.......

ACPT only made 10, 1 piece driveshafts for the Evo 8 & 9's. PST is the company making these ones.

Update: Testing will be a little longer than expected, my Wife and I had our baby 10 weeks early, so her health takes priority!
There was a 25.5lbs drop in rotational mass on the 1pc, the two-piece are 15lbs lighter, PST did some testing with a couple of different Evo's and the people were extremely happy!

I take it these are for the 8 and 9s only? Any plans for the 10?

Morning - I spoke with Mark regarding the application years and both the one and two piece shafts are appropriate for all years except '10. As demand increases, PST will step up to the plate and get cracking on the 2010's.

Thanks & Have a Great Weekend,

Arlene - PST, Inc.

i just ordered a 1 piece from PST today.

$1695 and shipping was like $28,i guess b/c it's so light.18lbs total.i think stock is 40+

Mark at PST said he could have it finished by Friday,so that was a pleasant surprise.i was expecting 2 weeks at least.

i know there is an aluminum shaft for half the price, but is about 10-15 rotational pounds heavier.so if i was going to do it to try to save weight, then go ahead and do it right.

i'll put some pics up next week when it comes in,and how we grind down/cut down the carrier bearing housing.should be pretty easy.

i also have an upgraded diff coming in the mail as well to hook it up to.

they are mounts welded(looks like) to the car where the carrier bearings are.they will need to be either removed or decreased in size.

i was told that if you cut the spot welds they will come out,and i am going to try that.if it doesn't work as planned,i will just grind out enough room for the DS.

pics to follow.
