So after losing essentially all of my tools to the shop, I decided a Harbor Freight trip was in order. I left there with a big shopping cart full and a smile on my face. I knew however, that I owed it to myself to clean up the garage big time. So I told myself I couldn't even unload the tools from my car until it was nicely organized, or as close to it as I was willing to go. In these pics there is still a lot of winterized stuff that usually doesn't fill the garage.

Okay, NOW I've earned them

Bah! I knew it was either the diffuser or the RE01R's! They got plenty of good use

The new summer wheels came in (Some of MY FAVORITE WHEELS! 17x9 +25 Wedsport TC-105N only 15lbs!) and first thing first, Jerry needed to inspect them

Time to slap the new rubber on! 255/40/17 Hankook R-S3. SICK tires.

subscribed. sounds like we have very similar goals with our cars regarding that hard-to-define 'street car' term.

interested to talk set up with you one day. i think im going to try the hks 7460 gtii when i go turbo upgrade though, love how it sounded in terms of spool and that it's ball bearing etc. suspension is gtworx + bilsteins and a few other goodies, not to mention rear diff upgrade.. i've got a really well-made custom double din hvac relocation in oem trim + z120bt, probably one of my favorite mods lol.

anyway, looking forward to seeing how the car progresses

In time the BBKB results will come in time. Everything is taking forever this year, hopefully I get it all sorted soon and can just ENJOY the car.

If you run a 245 tire, I don't think you would need to do anything to the car. The 255's I had on the car run wide, wider than a 265 star spec and required rolling the fender lip. Nothing up front, and no spacers anywhere. Highly reccomended.

New wheels look great man! 15 lbs for 17 x 9s is awesome!! I just picked up some 17 x 8.5 RPF1s and they are 16 lbs each. What does your rim & tire weigh together? Mine are around 40.5 lbs with another model Hankook tire (255/40/17). And unfortunately I need to roll my rear fenders as they are slightly rubbing.
