why do you need to paint them...

you're buying the RS to save wieght... painting them is only going to negate that, right...?

 

Well the A/C and the ABS comes as an option, so they probably have the mirrors and door handles painted as an option too . But if you're really serious about it, get a White one of course and good luck to be 1 out of 700 people driving an RS next year. But dude I warn you it's just like going from an EVO to Civic DX IMHO.

I know that, but what I mean is the luxury of it. The RS not having any power windows, A/C, not painted mirrors and door handles, etc... Get the idea?

 

If the dealer won't offer it as an option, you can always do it by yourself. Just take it to a body shop, not that hard.

of course you can paint them.. why wouldnt you be able to? im sure the plastics do not have a paint repelling mystical force

The Evo comes in both of those colors already. However, with them only bringing 700 of them to the US, I am pretty sure that a lot of people on here will be wanting to swap handles/mirrors with you, just so they can have that RS look. Look at Honda owners, How many Integra GS-R's have you seen with Type R spoilers?
