My Winter Build
I first off have to thank so many people during this rebuild, first i want to thank my wife for encouraging me to "go big or go home" with this build, forum members to vendors answering my off the wall questions about the smallest things at the strangest hours on Facebook chat. Dave Buschur, Mike at AWD, everyone at STM, MAPerformance, a good friend of mine on here GreenAWD for helping get a lot of parts, the list is so long i could take a page alone to list everyone, but without the members on this forum i wouldn't be close to getting ready to drop it in and get tuned.
Last year with Emery @ STM's help i got to a new best of 10.2@137 on 93 pump and a stock block on his FF turbo kit and a GT3582

But i played the stock block lotto to long and then tragedy struck on a drive home from work

once i got the block out and all the fun stuff out i took it to a local performance shop here in Rochester and thats when i got the bad news, I slightly warped the deck, the head, stretched 6 of the 8 ARP head studs i had and broke the crank sensor(cheapest thing to fix so far
) That was a shock as the motor looked awesome when we pulled it out

But i figure we have about 18 months of winter here in Rochester so why not build the car and have some real fun next year. So we had PROformance deck the block and head, assemble the bottom end and the other misc engine stuff.
Some JE Pistons in a 10:1 flavor and some wiesco turbo tuff rods

what i got back looked awesome and i was more then excited to put it together
factor in some ARP L19 Headstuds after learning from last years fun i thought these might be worth it.

Add in my new cams.... Enter the Tomei 280 Procam

A New DI Intake Manifold

With a touch of Black to be different

A new valve cover color for this year(I know its ricey but i like the old school muscle car wrinkle black look)

And enter the heart to my beast

What you cant see are the new FIC 2150 injectors, cosworth crank scraper, and the AMS power steering delete kit( Which may or may not be a bad idea as i still DD the car )a scatter shield

and my new exhaust which is no where near legal but sometimes you just gotta push the envelope a bit...

Im still waiting on a few parts before i can drop it in and take it to my tuner to see what kind of numbers she puts down, im hoping for 700ish but i guess we will see, soon as its all buttoned up ill update this and post dyno graphs as well. Im hoping for a high/mid 9 second pass this year with the driver mod, a little luck and these new tires i picked up(thanks again lilev)

Few small issues to sort out, and a few more parts to buy but its starting to look more like a car and less like a pile of scrap and headaches

@bessin,My car is one of the things that caught my wife's eye. She had never seen a car that could back up it's loud exhaust til mine.
@mark, hopefully she does. I'll need a major driver mod
@06mrevo, I'm looking forward to my results as well. I think that 700 might be a tad consertative with this turbo... I guess we will see

wow, you weren't kidding when you said it was in pieces the other night! I need to do a better job on my forum stalking! It was good to see you and very glad all is going well.
Can't wait to see the finished product!
