That is so unsafe. Using parts in such a way that can cause danger to others, yourself and nevermind about that poor car of yours! You think those tires were meant to be mounted like that? All for the looks, that's the only purpose! Sickening...

The bead seated and popped just like any other tire. On my let us I have more of a stretch than this and daily the car. I'm not gonna get butt hurt because I'm choosing to post here. So in a way I like it and I will continue to update with pics of my very Un safe, ugly, project anti rally car.

Just so you know, the tire may have "popped" over the bead hump. But a tire is not seated properly unless the bead is pressing against the rim flange of the wheel. In your case the bead is almost half an inch away from being seated. Let 15 psi out and see what happens to it.

Just out of spite I let all the air out. Took the valve stem core out. Tire didn't move. Hmmmm yeah I guess it's just dying to come off...

It may not have come off when you aired it down in the driveway, but that tire is waiting to come off the wheel when it sees a decent side load on a freeway off/on ramp. That crap is stupid. Sell your evo to a real car enthusiast, and buy a four door family sedan lexus or infiniti to dump/ruin and put the improper fitting wheels/tires on it.

Police are cracking down on this ****. I'll be using a 225 on a 9.5" which I still believe is safe as a certified auto technician. But to each his own, it's his car.

Lol at these guys, it is the stance thread, idk what you were all expecting. I personally ran a 215/40 on 18x10 at -3 front, -4 rear. Tires lasted almost 2 years. Regular rotations and checks, daily driven. Even made trips from San Francisco to LA on many occasions. No issues, changed them when tires started to show wire. On that note, can't wait to see em on the car!

About that... I already ****ed up a perfectly good 01 GS430 lexus. Sitting on the ground. Same stretched tires. I corner it just fine. Run a 245 on my 11.5s on the rear. Never had an issue and I daily it. I love "ruining" cars. I've had PLENTY that were featured on big sites. I didn't built my cars for anyone else but me. Thanks buddy.

I will never understand why people think stretched tires and excessive camber look good
